THINQwinnerThe e-learning provider designed postcards that were placed in the show registration bags. The cards asked, “Think you’d like a $100? We think so too.” Attached was a green button that said, “Experience THINQ eLearning5.” Attendees wearing the button on the show floor were selected at random to receive $100 by members of the THINQ Prize Patrol (one winner each hour).

American Slide Chart

Three-dimensional pieces work well as pre-show mailers. These pop-ups by American Slide Chart mail flat, but are rubber-band activated when pulled from the envelope. For Direct Marketing Days in New York, a pop-up of the Empire State Building (complete with King Kong) and a subway car were used. Another company mailed a miniature house invitation for a remodeling show. A car dealership used a 3-D pyramid to promote a contest to win a trip to the Super Bowl.
